Oil finish sanded wood for white natural or classic colours
Oiling wood whether with a clear (natural) of pigmented oil (white or darker tones) is simple and effective. Resin from the oil is drawn into the wood and excess oil is removed. What remains within the grain and pores of the wood hardens and forms a finished wood surface. We'd recommend two applications as oil continues to absorb as it hardens so to fully fill the pores a 2nd application is often needed.
Woca Diamond Active is an exceptional oil in that it is solvent free hence more effectively fills the pores. It also have the cross-linking technology that binds molecules of oil and wood togethor to create an even harder finish. It can, therefore, be used as one-application oil when working on dense wood types.
Linea Hybrid Oils are waterborne and applied as a layer to soak and cure in. They are listed to give you a paler and also an as-sanded invisible finish.
