The majority of floor finishers will be dealing with oak wood; hence the kits presented here are to achieve the intended look on that wood.

When working on other hardwoods that perhaps are characterised by their density and durability, or perhaps more simply by them being deciduous, you will need to undertake testing to see the final outcome of these product selections. Often with the exotic timbers then the classic tone options are best; tinkering with their original rich colour can be unsatisfactory. That said the invisible, neutral kits give good results to keep a paleness in the wood.
