... to a grey or dark tone
We are working here in the principle that grey on wood actually in a design sense means the conversion of yellows and reds into the more neutral taupe tone. For a metallic grey-card effect then really another material than wood should be sought or paint applied.
For a darker tone we are looking towards the rich browns normally given wood by heat or ammonia treatment in production.
Within these objectives we can achieve excellent result from the QUARTIER LYE & LACQUER system.
Quartier will result in a more even appearance since the wood grain will actually be lighter than the overall colour, hence not highlighted. The UV-Filtering lacquer is extremely hardwearing and prevents changes to the tone achieved as the floor is exposed to UV light.
